Welcome! Are you looking to stay in a private, beautifully treed Alaskan setting? We offer a beautiful, rustic 2600 square foot custom home featuring 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 baths and a loft. Our home comfortably sleeps 10 people and there is plenty of room for extra guests if needed. There is a fire pit located in the lower front yard with plenty of firewood to relax in the evening and swap stories of your experiences during the day. Large ample parking available on-site. The two large bedrooms contain two full beds each (new!) with a total of four beds!! The loft has a couch where you can have time alone to read a good book and enjoy the cool breeze coming through the window. The master bedroom has a queen bed, full master bath complete with Jacuzzi tub and a balcony. A back deck with a gas grill is provided for your use to cook that fresh salmon steak you caught or purchased earlier in the day. In order to keep the bears away, there are no provisions to clean fish on site. We will be happy to provide information where you can get your fish processed locally in the Soldotna/Kenai area. Two freezers will be available to store your fish if needed. Laundry facilities are available and the house is completely stocked with linens, towels and dishes for your use. We offer a TV in each bedroom with Netflix to wind down your day with a good movie or documentary. We also supply wireless WiFi. Please remember I have raised my family here and have had animals in the past. Every bed is new and has been replaced. There is new bedding-sheets, blankets and comforters. The home is professionally cleaned every year and after every guest. Every effort is made to have it clean for past, current and future guests. We are conveniently and centrally located 4 miles south of Soldotna, 70 miles from Homer, 10 miles from Kenai and 50 miles from the Russian River. The Kasilof River is just 10 miles away with beach access located at Mile 4 from the South K-Beach/Sterling Highway intersection. Homer is just 75 minutes away for all your deep sea fishing experiences. Enjoy what our towns have to offer with unlimited and unique gift shops to shop for the folks back home, quaint restaurants and shopping for the basic supplies to make your trip complete. If you need anything, we’ll be easy to find next door. The cabin is 20x24 with a 3/4 loft. Approximately 750 sq ft of living space. The master bedroom (queen bed) and bathroom are on the main level. The upstairs is an open loft with two more beds (full and queen) and a lounge area. We currently don’t have WiFi because there are no providers that service our address. We also don’t subscribe to a TV provider. For entertainment, there is a DVD player and an assortment of DVDs. Guests also stream from their phones and connect to the TV with phone to HDMI adapters or by enabling their hotspot.

We have a full function kitchen, two living/gathering areas. 5 bedrooms and additional bed options in the living spaces. There is also a heated three car garage that has been converted into a place where large groups can gather, teens can hang out and littles can play. We have portable table and chairs to accommodate a large group. The garage has a chalkboard and a make shift stage. There is a printer and wireless high speed wifi available. The downstairs living space has a projector that has a roku, dvd player and also can be hooked to computer. We can also stage the area according to the needs of your group. We have PE toys, other toys, office supplies, etc. that we can leave in the house if you prearrange it with the owner. The space and land are a beautiful example of a homestead brought into the 21st century. The apartment overlooks the lake where you can catch glimpses of Alaskan wildlife, Mt. Redoubt, and colorful sunrises and sunsets. As our guest, you can enjoy fishing in our lake, canoeing, the fire pit and sauna. Our newly refinished loft apartment is fully furnished with everything you will need for your stay. The living, kitchen, dining, and sleeping area are located upstairs while the bathroom is on the ground floor. While animals are not allowed in the apartment, dogs and cats do live on the property. The apartment is situated above our garage, but we make every effort to make as little disturbance as possible as we utilize our garage space. Interaction with guests Our log home is situated right next to the loft apartment and we are readily available via phone call, text, or a simple knock on our door. This is a nice 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom family friendly house with a big lawn. We are 2 miles from the Kenai River, 5 minutes from the middle of Soldotna, and 10 minutes from Kenai. There is an outdoor fish cleaning station available and a tree house, swing set and jungle gym for kids on the property. The four bedrooms are very similar in size with one having a small climbing wall on one side of the room as well.

We easily sleep 14 and also have three queen size aero mattress if more space is needed. There are two full kitchens with most amenities anyone might desire. We have fifty feet of fishable dock useable during seasonable dates. There is a complete fish cleaning station at the dock. There is no handicap access to the dock. If you are hiring a river charter, the dock has access with stairs for your charter to use. We are located directly across from Centennial Park at river mile approximately 20.5. The processor, Custom Seafoods, is located a short 2-mile driving distance from the home. The stunning Kenai River is just right outside the door. Views from the front room are amazing all year long.
